This online-slang chat guide is to help newbies/starters (no offence) not to get lost in our typical Maple conversations (forum or ingame). This could be also refered to as MapleStory Dictionary. Some parts of this glossary is referenced from JVLaple Slang for Beginners and StrategyWiki. Use CTRL+F command to find the word in this glossary.

Banditsin – Bandit with max Lucky 7 – 俗にいう投げシフ.１次スキルのラッキーセブンをMAXにする斬り賊のことです。
BM – Bow Master – ボウマスター（弓４次）
CB – Chief Bandit – マスターシーフ（斬り３次）
Crus – Crussader – クルセイダー（ヒーロー系統３次ですが、ヒーローのことを示すこともあります）*JMSでクルセイダーはパラディン系統です。
Dit – Bandit – 斬り（２次）ですが、斬り賊を表すこともあります。
DK – Dragon Knight, Dark Knight – ドラゴンナイト（３次）/ダークナイト（４次）
Drk – Dark Knight – ダークナイト（４次）
F/P – Fire Poison Mage (Class) – ２次以降の火毒魔を示します。
Fizard – Fire/Poison Wizard uses pure Fire – 火魔（毒狩りをメインとしない火毒を表すこともあります。）
Lizzard – Lightning Wizard – JMSでいう雷魔にあたります。氷魔というひともいますね。
MM – Marksman – 弩（４次）ですが、 弩系統全職を示すことがほとんどです。
NL – Nightlord – 投げ（４次） ナイトロード（３次以下はSinと呼ぶことが多いです。）
GM – Game Master, Game Moderator – ゲームマスター
Pizard – Fire/Poison Magician uses pure Poison – 毒狩りメインの火毒魔
Prz – Priest – プリースト（３次）
Sader – Crusader – ヒーロー系統３次ですが、ヒーロー系統全てを表すこともあります。
Sairs – Corsair – 銃（４次）ですが、銃全職表すことがあります。
Sin – Assassin – アサシンですが、投げ全職を表すことあがります。
WK – White Knight – パラディン３次職ですね。JMSではクルセイダー。
XBow – Crossbowman – 弩２次職ですが、 弩全職表すことがあります。

Crimson, CRog – Crimson Balrog – Boss monster. – クリムゾンバルログ（船にいるほうです。）スリーピダンジョンにるのはJr.Balrog
Dark YnP – Dark Yeti & Dark Pepe combined – Enemy found in Dangerous Cliff – ダークイエティ/ペペ
DSG – Dark Stone Golem – Found in Sleepywood Dungeon III, IV, V and Golem Temple 3 – ダークゴーレム

EE – Evil Eye – Monster found in the Dungeon – エヴィルアイ（スリーピの奥地で鬼脇する金色のとかげ）
Grim – Grim Phantom Watches, high-level monsters that are found in Ludibrium. – ファントムウォッチ
GK – Gatekeeper – A powerful monster found within the Warped Passage. – ゲートキーパー
Grandpa – The Boss – 大親分（おじいちゃんと呼ばれてるようです。）
HT – Horntail – Most powerful boss monster – ホーンテイル
JRog – Junior Balrog, Jr. Balrog – ジュニアバルログ
Jeti, J Yeti – Jr. Yeti – ジュニアイエティ
Lycan – Lycanthrope– ライカンスロープ（エルナス奥地にいる白い背の高い狼）*日シュリ落とす噂がありましたね。
Lyco – Lycanthrope– 上に同じ
Mong / Hime – Dreamy Ghost aka monglong– きのこ神社にいる姫です。どうもHimeと呼ばれるのをよくみます。

MG – Mix Golem–ジョイントゴーレム（ゴレ森ですね）＊ゴレ森はFog(Foerst of Golems)

KB – knockback –ノックバック（姉御は1000です。）
MP – Manapoints / Mana / Power – マナ
Mdef. – Magic Defense – 魔法防御
Nuke – Boss Special Attack that reduces player’s Hp and Mp to 1 (except achilles) – １１（いちいち）。ボスの攻撃ですね。
NX – Nexon / Nexon Cash – ネクソン、ネクソンポイント（ＪＭＳでいうＮＰ）
NPC – Non-Player Character. (Shop/Quest characters) / Sell item to NPC – ＮＰＣノンプレイヤーキャラクター
Vac – Vacuum Hack – Monsters flying into 1 small area – １点集中（チート）
WA – weapon attack – 物理攻撃力ＪＭＳでいうＡ(wa10wg=Ａ１０軍手）*wgはwork gloves(軍手)
WD / Wdef. – weapon defense – 物理防御
Wash Hp – Use Nx Cash (real money) and reset some AP (reduce Mp) to get more Hp – ＨＰ振替
Z-Helm – Zakum Helm / Helmet – ジャクムの兜
Freemarket / Cash Items – フリマ/キャッシュアイテム
SoK – Scissors of Karma (Convert items into tradeable (only allow 1 trade) – カルマのはさみ
p.Sok – Platinum Scissor of Karma (Similar to SoK but applies to Mount, Medal) – プラチナかるまのハサミ
VH – Vicious Hammer (add +1 slot to equipment) – ビシャスハンマー

Ringer – Welcome Back Ring (a ring rewarded to players who played 2 years ago) – comabackキャンペンーンの指輪をもってるひと。

PP/ppl: People – 人々、みんな
Pro: Professional – プロ 神がかってるやつ・装備
R> : recruiting guide members – リクルート、なにか人を募集するときに（ギルド、グループ、ボスなど）
Rofl: Roll on the floor laughing – lmaoにと同じ頻度で使われる。爆笑を表す
Sry: Sorryーそーりーー
Slot: example: “Got slot at bain?” means asking whether there is any space for them to join with the other party who are currently training in Zipangu: Armory. – Slotは装備のアップグレード数、グループやギルドなどの空きの数
Tq/Ty/Thx/Thks: Thank You/Thanks – あり
Wt Wt: Woot Woot(Hurray or Yay O.o) – やったー、万歳
zzz: lame? (not sleepy) – つまんないとかだっさと言うときに（眠いという意味ではあまりつかわれません）
Battlefield Conversation/狩場で使う言葉
CC: Change Channel – チャンネル変えろ
GG – Good Game – いいゲーム、お疲れという意味ですが、大半は煽りまたは皮肉
KS: Kill-stealing(A very rude act in Maple n almost every MMORPG)：横行為 横はＪＭＳだけじゃないですよ！
Loot: Taking items from monsters killed by your party members or strangers:ドロップアイテムを盗む行為
Leech: Party with a person who trains while you are doing nothing but get free exp. – 吸い
Pt: Partyーグループ
In the Free Market-place / Trading/フリマで使い言葉（大切ですよ）
A>: Auctioning – オークション
B>: Buying – 売ります
F> Finding for “something” (party slot/bf/gf/prz/etc) – 探しています（グループなど）
Nego: Negotiate – 交渉
Offer: Ask the other person to offer (mesos,items etc) on a selling item – 希望価格
PC: Price Check for an item before buying or selling an item – 値段確認
S>: Selling – 販売
T>: Trading – 交換
Vending: Going AFK while using a Shop Permit to sell items (overnight) – 営業許可書を使用して放置してる間に販売すること。ＪＭＳでは放置がよく使われていましたね
